Where it all starts
Hi there! I’m eleven years old and I really love reading. I believe that stories aren’t books with words in them, but gateways to new dimensions, new perspectives to see life. Every great author starts their story with these ways of thinking, and, as a result, create amazing and diverse creations. I hope that my blog posts can show you my way of thinking in the best way possible, and maybe I can even get you to love books as much as I do!☺️
The next best thing ✏️
In my opinion, the one thing that’s as good as reading is writing. Many great things can be achieved with just a pen and paper. Your imagination has no limits, so let it flow! Here are some of my top tips for writing:
- When you get an awesome idea, note it down! You never know when it could come in handy.
- Get inspired! Re-read your favourite books and make a mental note of possible features you could add to your work.
- Keep your writing varied. It doesn’t do to start your sentences in the same way, or write about the same thing. Add difference to create dimension and sides to the way you write.
- Mean what you write! Make sure every word is a word created from your heart.
My mission : keep working, stay patient
Never pressurise yourself to get your work right first time. Did you know that Malorie Blackman went to publishers 80 times to create her book? That must have taken a lot of patience! Writing requires a broad mind; there are so many possibilities, it’s not hard to get confused sometimes. Consider your ideas as a huge library; it might take a while to find the right one.
I hope that by reading my blogs you can find out more about me and enjoy the things I’m putting out. See you!
